Stainless steel casting is one of the best things that you can do if you’re trying to make something that is going to need to be strong and that is going to last for a lot of years, especially in areas of the world where there is a great deal of corrosion present, such as near the ocean or in places where you are going to be around a lot of chemicals. 

How do you get stainless steel casting to resist corrosion in high corrosive environment

Chromium is stainless steel’s secret weapon against rust and corrosion. When chrome reacts with oxygen, it forms a fine layer at the surface of the steel that prevents rust. That makes stainless steel good for areas with high humidity or chemical use. For instance, on one of our Jiayun projects, we supplied the castings for a plant that produces household cleaning chemicals.
